Form Layouts
I had done some A/B tests on label positioning.
A. Left aligned next to input:
B. Right aligned next to input:
c. Top of input.
They came out as C being the best, A being a very close second, and B coming in last.
Agree with Fyzbo. I think labels over input forms tend to work best (and there's some research to back this up). Labels left of forms do tend to look a little neater, but they're generally not as fast to process, especially if you right-align them to the edge of the field (so they're lined up neatly on the left of each field) since the labels won't start in the same place.
Also you can examine form heatmad
Design B has more performance other than. But while in test, most of user like Design A. Next picture is heatmap for Design A.
